Given :-
Circumference of circle = 2.17
π = 3.14
Let the radius be r.
To prove :-
Diameter = 6.19
Proof :-
Now putting the value in the formula,
Circumference of circle = 2πr
2.17 = 2(3.14)(r)
2.17 = 6.28r
r =
= 0.34076433121
Also, we know that
Diameter = 2 × radius
= 2 × 0.34076433121
= 0.68152866242 (Which is appropriately 6.19)
So, Diameter = 6.19 Hence proved.
