Substitute the value of b i.e, 1.1

=b²-9(b-1)²

=(1.1)²-9(1.1-1)²

= 1.21-9(0.1)²

= 1.21-9(0.01)

= 1.21-0.09

= 1.12

Answer:

Given-

 {b}^{2}  - 9 {(b - 1)}^{2}

Explanation

 {(b)}^{2}  - {3(b - 1)} ^{2}  \\( b + 3b - 3)(b - 3b + 3) \\ (4b - 3)( - 2b + 3) \\ (4.4 - 3)( - 2.2 + 3) \\ (1.4)( - 1.2) \\  - (1.68) \\  - 1.68
