Electric field due to the charged sheet is E= σ/2ε0

Away from the if the charge is positive and towards the sheet if the charge is negative.

Let the sheet be A,B,C

Electric field at a point in between the sheets B and C is :

Electric field due to A is E= σ/2ε0 towards A

electric field due to B towards B is 2(E=σ/2ε0)

Therefore, electric field due to C is E=σ/2ε0 away from C

Net electric field

=σ/2ε0(1+2+1)=4(σ/2ε0)

=2σ/ε0

And along the z-axis along unit vector k^

=2σ/ε0 k^
