Let the masses of two cars = m1 : m2 = 4 : 5

$\frac{m1}{m2} = \frac{4}{5}$

And the acceleration of two cars = a1 : a2 = 2 : 3

$\frac{a1}{a2} = \frac{2}{3}$

Now ratio of forces =

$\frac{f1}{f2} = \frac{m1a1}{m2a2}$

$\frac{f1}{f2} = \frac{4}{5} \times \frac{2}{3}$

$\frac{f1}{f2} = \frac{8}{15}$

F1 : F2 = 8 : 15
