Hi ,

Rationalize the numerator ,

( √3 + 1 ) / 2

= [ (√3 + 1 )( √3 - 1 ) ]/[ 2(√3 - 1 ) ]

= [ ( √3 )² - 1² ]/[ 2( √3 - 1 ) ]

= ( 3 - 1 ) / [ 2(√3 - 1 ) ]

= 2/[ 2 ( √3 - 1 ) ]

= 1/( √3 - 1 )
