What is the size of each angle in an equilateral triangle?

Equilateral triangle means the triangle with all its sides of equal length . Therefore the measure of angle in an equilateral triangle will be to equal .

  • Let consider the measure of one of the angle in equilateral triangle is x° .

  • Therefore remaining two angles will also measure x° .

  • By the angle sum property of triangle , sum of all angles = 180°

Therefore,

x + x + x = 180°

➡️ 3x = 180°

➡️ x = 180/3

➡️ x = 60°

  • Therefore measure of each angle in an equilateral triangle is 60°

Equilateral triangle means triangle with all equal sides.Which means that it's angles will be equal .

Let the measure of one angle is x.

Other angles will be x ........( all angles equal)

x  + x + x = 180 \degree ( \sf \: angle \: sum \: property)

 \longrightarrow \: 3x = 180 \degree

 \rightarrow \: \: x =  \frac{180}{3}  = 60 \degree

  \large\boxed{ \sf{ \red{Measure \:  of  \: each  \: angle \:  is \:  60°.}}}
