Explanation:

If distance is given and to find acceleration than we have Second equation of motion

 \huge \: s = ut  +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

Putting the values

 \large \: 100 = 0 \times t +  \frac{1}{2} a( {5})^{2}

   \large \: a =  \frac{2 \times 100}{25}  = 8

Now we need to find velocity for that we use 1st equation of motion

 \huge \: v = u + at

 \large \: v = 0 + 8 \times 5 = 40

hence

v=40 and a=8
