Difference between Western ghats and Eastern ghats are:-
⊙ Western ghats:-
▪︎➣Their heights is about 900 to 1600 meters .The highest peak of this region is Anai mudi(2,659)
▪︎➣They have sleep slopes as height increases from north to south
▪︎➣They are continuous and can be crossed through passes only .
⊙Eastern ghats:-
▪︎➣Eastern ghats are lower in height as compared to western ghats.It ranges from 600 to 900 meters. Highest peak in that area is Mahendragiri (1500m)
▪︎➣They have gentle slope
▪︎➣They are irregular and discontinuous and dissected by the rivers
