◈ Plot a Distance-Time graph

◈ Distance travelled by the object in 30 Seconds?

◈ Average speed of the body?

\displaystyle\large\underline{\sf\gray{Solution}}

So here they travel equal Distances in Equal intervals of time, so the graph would be a straight line

Average speed of a body is given by,

\displaystyle\underline{\boxed{\sf Avg \ Speed = \dfrac{Total \ D}{Total \ T}}}

Qn B)

So as per the table that we are given in the Question, the distance travelled by the body is 32 m

Qn C)

We know that Average speed of a body is given by,

\displaystyle\sf Avg \ Speed = \dfrac{Total \ D}{Total \ T}

  • Total Distance = 80 m
  • Total Time = 75 sec

Substituting the values,

\displaystyle\sf\dashrightarrow Avg \ Speed = \dfrac{80}{75}\\\\

\displaystyle\sf\dashrightarrow Avg \ Speed = \dfrac{16}{15}\\\\

\displaystyle\sf\dashrightarrow Avg \ Speed = 1.0666.....\\\\

\displaystyle\sf\pink{\dashrightarrow Avg \ Speed = 1.07}
