Correct Question :-

→ 7y / 5 = y - 4

→ 7y = 5 ( y - 4 )

→ 7y = 5y - 20

→ 7y - 5y = -20

→ 2y = -20

→ y = -10

Thank You !!

\dashrightarrow\sf{\frac{7y}{5}  = y  - 4}

\dashrightarrow\sf{7y \:  = 5 \: ( \: y \:  -  \: 4 \: )}

\dashrightarrow\sf{7y = 5y \:  - 20}

\dashrightarrow\sf{7y  - 5y \:  =  - 20}
