The objects which can attract magnetic bodies are called magnets. The property of a magnet is called magnetism.

Magnets have the following properties :

# They attract magnetic bodies.

# They have more magnetic force at poles than in their middle part.

# Like poles of a magnet repel and unlike poles attract. It is also called the law of magnetic poles.
