given :- √2, √8, √18....

  • √8 can be written as

= √(2 × 2 × 2)

= 2√2

  • √18 can be written as

= √(2 × 3 × 3)

= 3√2

AP = 1√2, 2√2, 3√2 ....

d = 2√2 - 1√2 = 1

hence, next term of this ap = 4√2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

√8 , √18 ,√32 Are in AP

To find :-

4th term of given AP. And common difference of AP.

Solution:-

we can write

√8 , √18 ,√32 As 2√2 , 3√2 , 4√2  Are in AP

Here,

First term (a1) = 2√2

Second term (a2) = 3√2

Third term (a3) = 4√2

Hence, the next term of this AP is 4√2.
