 \sqrt{3}  =  \frac{ \cos(x) }{ \sin(x) }

cos x/sin x is equal to tan x

 \sqrt{3}  =  \tan(x)

using value table of TRIGONOMETRY

 \tan(60)  =  \sqrt{3}

Therefore x=60
