Hey there

Given :-

 \sqrt[5]{5x + 2} = 2

Using power of 5 both sides we get

 {( \sqrt[5]{5x + 2)} }^{5} = {2}^{5} \\ \\ = > {( 5x + 2)}^{5 \times \frac{1}{5} } = {2}^{5} \\ \\ = > 5x + 2 = 32 \\ \\ = > x = 30/5

Hence the value of x is 6

Hope this helps you ☺
