Hey Bro,

To find the  \sqrt{7} .

We can use long division method...

Step 1: Place a bar over every pair of digits starting from the unit digit. If the number of digits in it is odd, then the left-most single digit too will have a bar. Thus we have, 7.So, the only bar is on 7, but we can add decimals after 7. Now it is 7.0000.
So we can add even number of zeroes and can add bars on two zeroes..

Step 2 : Find the largest number whose square is less than or equal to the 1st number, here it is '7'.
(22 < 7< 32). Here the we take 2. Divide and get the remainder (3 in this case).
   (The quotient is 2)

Step 3: Bring down the number under the next bar (i.e., 00 in this case) to the right of the remainder. So the new dividend is 300.
(Put decimal after 2 [in quotient])

Step 4 : Add the divisor 2 and quotient 2 that gives us 4.

Step 5 : Think of a largest number in fill in the blank (or at unit place) in such a way that the product of a new divisor and this digit is equal to or less than 300(new dividend).
In this case 46 × 6 = 276.

We can repeat this again by adding unit digit (of divisor) to divisor and new divisor will be 52 and new dividend will be
300 - 276 = 24.
by bringing 00 to dividend, the new dividend is 2400 and the new divisor is 52.

Again, we have to think of a number so as in Step 5.

In this case 524 × 4 = 2096.
We can repeat this step to get more and more number of digits.
Hence. √7 = 2.64.....

Hope it helps....
