Let the cost price of watch which Rahul paid = x

Rahul sold it at 10% profit = x+x×10/100

=100x+10x/100

=110x/100

=11x/10

Sohan sold it at 10% loss

=11x/10-11x/10×10/100

=11x/10-11x/100

=110x-11x/100

=99x/100

Mohan paid rs990/- which is equal to the 99x/100

Then,

99x/100=990

X/100=10

X=10x100

X=1000
