a) naphthalene balls disappear without leaving any solid because it is a sublimable substance , it directly vaporizes hence does not leave any solid .

b) as perfume has higher degree of vaporization so its vapur gets easily mixed up with the air , so when we spray perfume the vapours get mix up with air and reach towards the nose . hence we can smell perfume sitting several meters  away
