Therefore Amount after 2 years = 1.21 P Rs
Repaid = Rs 19360.
Principal for third year = (1.21 P - 19360) Rs
Amount for third year = (1.21 P - 19360) * 1.1 = 31944
Thus = 1.331 P - 21296=31944
1.331 P = 31944+21296
1.331 P = 53240
P =53240/1.331
P = 40000
Sum borrowed = Rs 40000
