The first story "The Hare and the Tortoise" is about a hare and a tortoise. One day, a hare saw a tortoise walking slowly with a shell on his back. So he challenges a race with the tortoise. The tortoise agreed and they started their race. The hare was fast and after reaching half a way, he decided to rest. He soon fall asleep. By the time, the hare was sleeping the tortoise reached the finish line and he won the race.
Moral: Slow and steady wins the race.

The second story "The honest wood cutter" is about a wood cutter who is very honest and hardworking. One day, a poor wood cutter went to the forest for cutting wood. While cutting wood, his axe fell in a river. Soon a water goddess appeared, showed a golden and a silver axe and asked him if any of the axe was his but he disagreed. Then again the water goddess appeared and showed him his axe and asked if that axe was his and he said yes. Then the water goddess gifted both the silver and the golden axe to the honest wood cutter.
Moral: Honesty is the best policy.
