To Find:-

  • The Length
  • The Area

Given:-

  • Breadth=30cm
  • Perimeter=130cm

Solution:-

From the data,we can understand it's a rectangle

Let it's length be l

We know

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)

that is,here

2(L+30)=130

2L+60=130

2L=130-60=70

L=70÷2

L=35

Therefore the length is 35cm

Let's check whether it's correct or not

2(35+30)=130

2×65=130

130=130

L.H.S=R.H.S

hence verified

  • Now to find Area

We know Area of a rectangle= L×B

applying it here

Area=35×30

Area=1050

Therefore the area of the Rectangle is 1050cm²

Therefore, Option B) 1050 is the correct answer
