Basically teeth are 4 types. These are different in structure and fuction. They are 

1. Incisors

2. Canines

3. Premolars

4. Molars

1. Incisors: Incisors are the first teeth to erupt between 6& 7 months. These are use to take bites of food.these are 8 in number in mouth.

2. Canines: These are very sharpest teeth.primary canines appear between 17-18 months. these are useful to ripping and tearing of food meretial.

3. Premolars: these are appear around at the age of 10. these are bicupsid in structure. these are used for chewing and grinding food.

4. Molars: These will appear between 12-18 months. these are also used for grinding and chewing food. The primary molars known as deciduous molars. The third molars are known as wisdom tooth.
