  • Hawking radiation is the thermal radiation predicted to be spontaneously emitted by black holes. It arises from the steady conversion of quantum vacuum fluctuations into pairs of particles, one of which escaping at infinity while the other is trapped inside the black hole horizon.

ANSWER

Hawking Radiation can be defined as, a particular and continously occurring radiation (black-body type radiation) originating from an event horizon of a black hole. It can also called the state due to which a black hole loses it's mass and vaporizes. Yes ! if a black hole posses Hawking Radiation, it would lose it's mass and energy.

One more thing I forgot to tell that - As it may be recognized easily Hawking Radiation was named after the great king of Physics i.e. Stephen W Hawking.
