Answer:

The amount of heat required to changing the state of matter without rose in its temperature is called latent heat.

It is of two types.....

  1. Latent heat of evaporation.
  2. Latent heat of vaporisation

rahul742266: can you tell me where does that heat actually going on

Hello friend

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Latent heat = (hidden heat)

the amount of heat required or released during phase(state) transformation at constant temperature is called latent heat.

In other words. >

THE heat required to convert solid into a liquid or vapour and liquid into vapour without change in temperature.

It is of two types =

Latent heat of fusion

the amount of heat required to convert 1 gram of solid into liquid at constant temperature is called latent heat of fusion.

Latent heat of vaporization

the amount of heat required to convert 1 gram of solid into vapour state at constant temperature is called latent heat of vaporization

May this helps you ✌️

rahul742266: where does that heat actually going on at its particle level
Anonymous: the heat is going on in breaking the inter particle force of attraction between the molecules
