Answer:

x

2

−13x+22

= x {}^{2} - 11x - 2x + 22=x

2

−11x−2x+22

= x(x - 11) -2(x - 11)=x(x−11)−2(x−11)

= (x - 11) \times (x - 2)=(x−11)×(x−2)

x-11=0 x-2=0

=> x =11 =>x = 2

Therefore, x = 11, 2

GIVEN :

{x}^{2} - 13x + 22 = 0

TO FIND :

The value of X.

SOLUTION :

⟶{x}^{2} - 13x + 22 = 0

⟶{x}^{2} - 11x - 2x+ 22 = 0

taking out common :-

⟶x(x- 11) - 2(x - 11) = 0

now take out (x-11) as common :-

(x - 11)(x - 2) = 0

therefore :-

x = 11 or x = 2

ANSWER : X = 11, 2
