 {x}^{2}  - 19x + 84

 {x}^{2}  - 12x - 7x + 84

x(x - 12) - 7(x - 12)

(x - 7) = 0,(x - 12) = 0

x = 7,x = 12

GIVEN QUESTION :

{x}^{2} - 19x + 84

SOLUTION :

We will solve this using middle term splitting:-

⟹{x}^{2} - 19x + 84

Now, 84 = (-12)×(-7) and -12-7 = -19

⟹{x}^{2} - 12x - 7x + 84

taking out common :-

⟹x(x - 12 )- 7(x  - 12)

Now take out (x-12) as common :-

⟹(x  - 12)(x -  7)

ANSWER :

(x  - 12)(x -  7)
