x(x-1)-1(x-1)
(x-1)=o
so x = 1
then
x^2+1/x^2=

= 1

x² -2x+1 = 0
=> x² -x - x + 1 = 0
=> x( x-1) -1(x-1) =0
=> (x-1)(x-1) =0
=> x= 1 , x= 1

now, we have,
x= 1
putting this value in other equation.

x²+1/x²
=> 1² + 1/1²
=> 1+1
=> 2
