 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 2 = 0

Splitting middle term:

 {x}^{2}  - 2x - x + 2 = 0

x(x - 2) - 1(x - 2) = 0

(x - 2) (x - 1) = 0

So,

x = 2 \: and \: x = 1
