 {x}^{2} + 4x - 21 \\ \\ = {x}^{2} + 7x - 3x - 21 \\ \\ = x(x + 7) - 3(x + 7) \\ \\ = (x - 3)(x + 7)

x = 3
OR
x=(-7)
