Hello !!

Find the coeficients of the equation.

A = 1 ; B = 5 ; C = -300

Find the discriminant.

D = b^2 - 4ac

D = 5^2 - 4 × 1 × (-300)

D = 25 + 1200

D = 1225

Now, you find the roots.

x = (-b ± √D)/(2a)

x = (-5 ± √1225)/(2 × 1)

x = (-5 ± 35)/2

x' = (-5 + 35)/2

x' = 30/2

x' = 15

x'' = (-5 - 35)/2

x'' = -40/2

x'' = -20

Final result : the solution for quadratic equation is 15 and -20.

I hope I have collaborated !
