Let's factorise this equation using splitting the middle term
= x² - 5x + 6 = 0
= x² - 2x - 3x + 6 = 0
= x ( x - 2 ) - 3 ( x - 2 ) = 0
= ( x - 2 ) ( x - 3 ) = 0
=> x = 2 , 3

Hope my answer helped you
Have a good day :-)
