Take square root of both sides
Square root over x ^2 +1/X ^2=square root of 34
X+1/x=x^2/x
X=square root over 34
34^1/2 -1/34^1/2
=34/34^1/2-1/34^1/2
As square root of 34 into root of 34 =34
