x²-x-132=0

x² -(12-11)x -132=0

x²-12x +11x -132=0

x(x-12) -11(x-12)=0

(x-12)(x-11)=0

x-12=0 or x-11 =0

x=12 Or x=11

I hope this will help you

The answer is given below :

132 = 12 × 11

Now,

 {x}^{2} - x - 132 =0\\ \\ or, {x}^{2} - 12x + 11x - 132=0 \\ \\ or, x(x -1 2) + 11(x - 12)=0 \\ \\ or, (x - 12)(x + 11)=0

Thus the roots of the given equation are
x = 12, (-11).
