Answer:

Solution :-

✪ (x + 4)² - x² = (5/4)x²

➩ (x)² + 2 × x × 4 + (4)² - x² = (5/4)x²

➩ x² + 8x + 16 - x² = 5x²/4

➩ x² - x² + 8x + 16 = 5x²/4

➩ 8x + 16 = 5x²/4

➩ 5x² = 32x + 64

➩ 5x² - 32x - 64 = 0

➩ 5x² - (40 - 8)x - 64 = 0

➩ 5x² - 40x + 8x - 64 = 0

➩ 5x(x - 8) + 8(x - 8) = 0

➩ (x - 8) (5x + 8) = 0

➩ (x - 8) = 0

➩ x - 8 = 0

➩ x = 8

Either,

➩ (5x + 8) = 0

➩ 5x + 8 = 0

➩ 5x = - 8

➩ x = - 8/5

The answer of this question is

x = 8, - 8/5
