 x = \sqrt{1 \frac{9}{16} }  \:  \:  \:  \: ,  y =  \sqrt{1 \frac{19}{81} }  \\ x - y \\  =  \sqrt{1 \frac{9}{16}} -   \sqrt{1 \frac{19}{81} }   \\  =  \sqrt{ \frac{25}{16} } -  \sqrt{ \frac{100}{81} }   \\   =  \sqrt{ \frac{5 \times 5}{4 \times 4} }  -  \sqrt{ \frac{10 \times 10}{3 \times 3} }  \\  =  \frac{5}{4}  -  \frac{10}{3}  \\  =  \frac{15 - 40}{12}  \\  =  \frac{25}{12}  \\  =  2\frac{1}{12}
