5x/2 + 2/3 = -7/12

15x/6 + 4/6 = -7/12

(15x+4)/ 6 = -7/12

30x+8 / 12 = -7/12

since denominators are same, we can cancel them out.

30x + 8 = -12

30x = -12-8 = -20

30x = -20

x = -20/30

x = -2/3
