x^2 + 5x - 6

x^2 + (6 - 1)x - 6

x^2 + 6x - x - 6

x(x + 6) - 1 (x + 6)

(x + 6) (x -1 )

X²+5X-6

=> X²+6X-X-6

=> X(X+6) -1(X+6)

=> (X+6) (X-1) = 0

Hence,

-6 and 1 are the two zeros of the given polynomial X²+5X-6.
