t's been a while since I've written a short story specifically for the blog. Today I thought I'd take a turn at some flash fiction, and I was inspired by some of the people and places I encountered while traveling last week. This piece is raw—meaning I wrote it directly in the text editor of my blog. As of the moment I'm writing this, I have literally just finished writing, and have not so much as re-read what I've written. I wanted to do that so that you had a chance to see how these things come out, first round. I'll go back and edit this later, and if you spot typos or other gaffs you'd like to point out I'll definitely take them. We can evolve this piece together, if you like.
