- Simple tissue consist of only one type of cells while the complex tissue are made up of more than one type of cells.
- Simple tissue are more or less similar in structure and perform similar function while in the complex tissue different types of cells perform different functions.
- There are three types of simple tissue present in plants which are Parenchyma,collenchyma,and sclerenchyma. While there are two types of complex tissue found in plants which are Xylem and Phloem.
