Let the radii of cylinders be R1 and R2
And the height of cylinders be H1 and H2
According to question.....
H1 : H2 = 1 : 2
=> H1 / H2 = 1/2 --------(1)
R1 : R2 = 2:1
=> R1 / R2 = 2 / 1 ------(2)
Now,
V1 : V2 = pi R1^2 H1 / pi R2^2 H2
= (R1 / R2)^2 × (H1 / H2)
= ( 2 / 1)^2 × 1 / 2
= 4 × 1 / 2
= 4 /2
= 2 : 1
Required ratio = 2 : 1
And the height of cylinders be H1 and H2
