Natural Number: A natural number is an integer greater than 0. Natural Number begin from 1 and increment to infinity. These are used for counting so, they are also called counting numbers.

Average: The average of a set of numbers is simply the sum of the numbers divided by the total number of values in the set.

We have to find,

★ The average of first 50 natural numbers

The first 50 Natural numbers are 1,2,3,4,......,50

 \\ :\implies\bf \dfrac{1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 +.............+ 50}{50} \\ \\ :\implies\bf \dfrac{1275}{50} \\ \\ :\implies\bf {\underline{\pink{25.5}}}

Or

We know that, the sum of first n natural numbers is \bf \dfrac{n(n + 1)}{2}

Therefore, sum of first 50 natural numbers is \sf \dfrac{50(51)}{2} =25(51) = \bf{1275}

Hence, the average of first 50 natural numbers is \sf \dfrac{1275}{50} = {\underline{\bf{\pink{25.5}}}}
