उसकी भुजाओं के मध्य बिन्दु है। यदि SR=10 सेमी. हो तथा
आयत की एक भुजा 12 सेमी. हो, तो चतुर्भुज PQRS का
क्षेत्रफल क्या है ?

So diagonal = 2×SR = 2×10 = 20

Let another side of rectangle be L

Then L^2 + 12^2 = 20^2

L^2 = 20^2 - 12^2 = (20+12)(20-12) = 32×8

L = 16

Since diagonals of rectangle are equal, therefore

PQRS will be a rhombus and it's two diagonals will be two sides of the rectangle 16 and 12

Area of rhombus = (1/2)×one diagonal× another diagonal

= (1/2)×16×12 = 96 sq cm Ans
