Answer:

The perimeter of cube face =20cm

formula = 4s

  1. 4s =20
  2. s = 20/4
  3. s = 5

volume =s×s×s

volume of cube = 5×5×5

= 125cubic cm

Given :

A Cube having perimeter of one face which is 20CM.

To Find :

Volume of the entire Cube.

Solution:

The Problem can be solved by Finding the side length of the square using Mathematical formulae.

1) Formula of Volume of a Cube with side  S = S*S*S cm^3.

2)But the side is not mentioned , Perimeter of a side is mentioned.

3) A Cube is the joint of all 6 squares , since perimeter of one side is mentioned we can find out the side length of the square using the formula: Perimeter of a square = 4*S.

On Substituting the value of perimeter i.e 20cm,

20=4*S;

After mathematical calculations , S=5CM;

4) Now , the Side length is 5cm, volume can be calculated using the volume of a cube formula i.e,

Volume of the given cube = S*S*S where S=5cm;

On substitution Volume= 5*5*5 Cm^3= 125Cm^3.

Therefore, The volume of the given cube = 125cm^3.

( This is the final answer since the units are given in Centimeters therefore the volume is also mentioned in centimeters and the units of volume is sidelength^3).
