Answer :-

→ Amount = P[ 1 + (R/100)]²

→ A = 1200[1 + (10/100)]²

→ A = 1200[1 + (1/10)]²

→ A = 1200 * (121/100)

→ A = Rs.1452 .

then,

→ Compound interest recieved = 1452 - 1200 = Rs.252.

now,

→ Discount = 1% ..

therefore,

→ CI after 1% discount = (252 * 99)/100 = Rs.249.48 (3) (Ans.)
