By angle sum property of a triangle,we know that sum of all the angles is 180*.

So,

angle A+ angle B+ angle C = 180*

=60*+40*+angle C = 180*

=100*+angle C =180*

angle C =80*

Thus, angle B is the smallest.

Since, the side opposite to smaller angle is smaller, angle B is the smallest side.
