Thalassemia is a genetic disorder that is inherited in the patient and it is rapidly spreading due to the immigration pattern and population flows in the united states, which causes blood transfusions in anemic patients. Bone marrow transplantation is an only treatment, but it is very expensive and success rate is very low. Throughout the 13 to 15 weeks of pregnancy, this disease can be prevented by detecting this gene in the whole world.
