thalloyphyta bryophyta and pteridopyta are cryptogams whearas ,gymnosperm and angiosperm and phanerosperms

Cryptogamae means plants that don't have seeds. Since Thallophytes, Bryophytes and Pteridophytes don't have seeds, they are called cryptogams.

Phanerogamae means plants that have seeds. Since Gymnosperms and Angiosperms have seeds, they are known as phanerogams.
