  "The Eyes Have It" was written by Ruskin Bond, the famous author of children's literature.

  In this prose, both the narrator and his companion were blind but they were unaware of each other's conditions. After giving an assumed picture perfect description of Mussoorie, he said to the girl, "What is it like outside?" This sentence of his might reveal about his blindness as he already gave a description of nature's beauty. That's why he feared that the girl might be able to know his inability to see. He called it his own mistake.
