let tankA and tankB be x and y
x = 5y
x+y=45+45
x+y=90
5y+y=90
6y=90
y=15
x=5(15)
=75

Answer:

let the tank b be x

tank a is 5 times of tank b it means tank a= 5 x times

as of the water transfered from tank a to tank b, both tanks are having 45 l of water

so, accusing to the question

x= 5x= 90 l

6x= 90 l

x = 90 ÷ 6 = 75

so tank b = 15 l

and tank a 15x = 15x5 =75

Let the amount of water transfered be = y

75 l - y = 45 l

-y = 45 l - 75 l

-y = -30 l

- is cutted by -

so the answer is 30 l

Step-by-step explanation:

let the tank b be x

tank a is 5 times of tank b it means tank a= 5 x times

as of the water transfered from tank a to tank b, both tanks are having 45 l of water

so, accusing to the question

x= 5x= 90 l

6x= 90 l

x = 90 ÷ 6 = 75

so tank b = 15 l

and tank a 15x = 15x5 =75

Let the amount of water transfered be = y

75 l - y = 45 l

-y = 45 l - 75 l

-y = -30 l

- is cutted by -

so the answer is 30 l
