Answer:These lines are taken from the plot of Being Neighbourly. The following lines were said by Jo in context of Laurie. According to her the boy desires to be surrounded by people and craves to have fun with friends. However, having been denied such social interactions,the boy is feeling distressed. Meeting and talking to people seems to be the only solution to his problems.
