we know that (a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2(ab + bc + ca)

given value of a + b + c = 8  and a² + b² + c² = 26

substituting the above values we get

8² = 26 + 2(ab + bc + ca)

⇒ (ab + bc + ca) = 19

we know that a³ + b³ + c³ - 3abc = (a + b + c)( a² + b² + c² - ab - bc -ca)

given abc =12 and a + b + c =8 and a² + b² + c² = 26 and we got ab + bc + ca = 19. . .substituting all the values in the above equation we get :

a³ + b³ + c³ - 3(12) = 8(26 - 19)

⇒ a³ + b³ + c³ = 56 + 36

⇒ a³ + b³ + c³ = 92
